Located in Old Bagan, Thande Hotel is about 15 minutes drive from the airport in Nyaung Oo, while New Bagan is 4 kilometres away. Situated within the Bagan Archaeological Zone, the hotel lies among a host of neighbouring ancient temples. The Bagan Archeological Museum is just beside the hotel, and the Gawdawpalin temple and other pagodas within the adjacent area.<#>The hotel offers 70 well-maintained rooms amidst landscaped gardens. All rooms are neatly appointed, equipped with parquet floor and teak furnishings. Economy rooms are also available. The restaurant offers Chinese, Burmese as well as western dishes. In summer there is another dining venue in the garden by the riverfront. A small pool with Jacuzzi is also provided on site.

The Thazin Garden Hotel Bagan is 10 minutes stroll off the main road and is quite secluded, thus offering a calm and quiet atmosphere. Plenty of restaurants are within easy reach. The hotel comprises 59 rooms, all of which are well furnished in rich teak wood, rattan furniture and charming traditional Burmese lacquer ware. The cottage style rooms are built in a row and scattered around the garden.<#>The restaurant above the reception building is neat and cozy, with a menu of Burmese and international dishes. A small but chic swimming pool is also available for use. The hotel also provides parking facility.

ニャンウー空港から車で約10分のところにある。イラワジ川の川岸に建っており、手入れの行き届いた熱帯植物の庭園がある。庭園の中には大きな老木も立っている。ティリピサヤサクラホテルから見て、考古学博物館の反対側にある。川の向こう側には11世紀の建築物であるゴードーパリン寺院が聳え立っている。

客室
客室は様々なタイプのものがあるが、部屋の雰囲気は全室統一されている。一般客室の大きさは中くらいで、木の床には現地の木材や藤を使った調度品が置かれている。個々に違った絵画や装飾品で、無駄のない内装が施されている。バスルームは標準的な大きさでバスタブが付いており、24時間温水の使用が可能である。衛星放送テレビ、室内映画、オペレーター経由のIDD電話、リモコン付きのエアコンなどの設備が整っている。

レストラン
レセプションに隣接している“Ya Tha Min Gyi cafe”では、1日中食事をすることができる。野外での食事もできるように、テラスに多少のテーブルが置かれている。“Tandipa River Terrace and Gardens”ではメニューの品数は少ないものの“Ya Tha Min Gyi cafe”と同じように、地元の料理をはじめ世界各国の料理を楽しむことができる。名前のとおり、屋外で食事をすることができる。（天候によって利用できない場合もあるが、通常10月から4月の間オープンしている）屋外で軽食や飲み物を出す“Koe Lone Village bar”は、雨季以外のシーズンで10時から真夜中までオープンしている。同じような形態の“Setkupan Yard”は、年中利用することができる。

Set within the archaeological zone of the city, Bagan Thiripyitsaya Sakura Hotel is nestled amidst 24 acres of lush gardens, on the banks of a river. The hotel is just 9 km from the airport and 10 km from the railway station. Approached by a long driveway, the resort features 68 beautifully decorated bungalows and 8 gorgeous river suites. The onsite restaurant serves the finest Burmese, Thai, Japanese, Chinese and Western dishes. The hotel also boasts one of the largest pools in the city, overlooking the hills of the Irrawaddy River.

タイのクラビのNopparat Tara Beach | ノッパラッタラ・ビーチの「Krabi National Park Success Resort」

現在、ナショナルパークは外れサクセスビーチリゾートとなっているようだ。ＯＴＥＬでアヨダヤリゾート＆スパを予約して現地に行くが、不思議な事にアヨダヤには予約が入っておらず、裏手のサクセスに案内される。サクセスのフロントにはアヨダヤのパンフレットが置かれており、てっきりアヨダヤに案内されたと勘違いしてしまう。パートナーがホテルが違う事に気づき、アヨダヤに案内するように要請するが、「手配業者に言え」と取り合ってくれず。以前は、同じホテルのサクセスウイングとして営業していたが、今は別ホテルでアヨダヤは４つ星、サクセスは３つ星クラスで明らかにランクが落ちる。夜間、英語のできるスタッフが、フロントにいない、貧弱なプール、暗くうら寂れたロビー、種類の少ない朝食とガランとした朝食会場、無料ワイファイは調子が悪く修理していたが、使用できず、近くにコンビニは無しなど評価は低い。辛うじてベランダ付きの部屋は、広く合格点。どうやら「アヨダヤのスーぺリアを予約すれば、サクセスに案内される」、と他の方のレビューもあり、我々には理解出来ない商売をしているようだ。アヨダヤのスーぺリアを予約するのなら、最初から安いサクセスに予約を入れた方が賢明だろう。又、異常に安いアヨダヤのオファーは、サクセスに案内される可能性大と考えられる。

　

中国の天津の「水晶宮飯店」
ホテルのマネージャーの接客態度が最低でした。宿泊客から金銭を取ってやろうという態度が丸見えで、まったく不快感だけが大きくなったホテルです。

２００７／１２／１―3鹿児島高の修学旅行がこのホテルでJTBの旅行計画を見るとぼったくりのように感じるが。JTB自体がアクドイ用に感じる。
